Gisele has a striking walk on the runway. She walked more than 90 km on the catwalks of the most famous brands in the world: Alexander McQueen, who first noticed her, then Versace, Louis Vuitton, Chanel Carolina Herrera, Chloe, Celine, Fendi, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Valentino, among many others. In the brief four years she participated in fashion weeks, she was able to do 70 shows in just one season and more than 100 shows in a year. She was also featured for many years in the famous Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Her unmistakable walk became her trademark which has been imitated worldwide. However, since 2002, her appearances have become rare in the fashion weeks and she has walked the runway only on special occasions such as special shows for Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Alexander Wang, Balenciaga, Givenchy and Chanel. In 2015, Gisele ended this cycle in her career and chose Brazil, her home country, for her last show.
